After the kingdoms divided as states and Britishers left India, a few of the prominent households migrated and scattered across the nation. As they grew in power, trade and business worlds, they became fluent and influential in many languages. One such language is TELUGU.
The door unlocked, the sister ran inside, and Keerthi saw the state of Ranjith. The upper part of his clothes was missing, and the lower part was all crumpled. A shiver ran down her spine, thinking about what the monster did.
Realisation dawned on her that she had forgotten her bag in the car in a hurry to meet him.
Seeing his lustrous face and creepy smile, Keerthi ran to the elevator and pressed the button anxiously. The elevator didn't open, but he was walking towards her and getting closer each minute. Scared, she climbed down the stairs.
Ranjith smirked, buttoning his shirt and caught up with Keerthi.
He gripped her wrist and said, “Where are you running to, Barbie?”
A sensation of a spider crawling on her skin because of his voice made her shudder in his grip.
She struggled with his grip. “Leave me.” She cried. “Please,” begged him. “Leave me,”
Giving deaf ears to her pleas, he dragged her to the floor below and pushed her inside the room he had booked to clean himself. He slammed the door.
The room was dimly lit, and she could barely see the surroundings. “How do you know I was here?” He asked, sitting on the sofa, one leg over the other.
Keerthi felt her throat dry. She swallowed her saliva, her hands trembling and knees weakened at his glare.
Yet, she stood with courage, looking straight into his eyes. “I followed you.” She said flatly.
He nodded. If she wanted, then she could get the entry pass in seconds. So he didn’t question how she followed him.
However, if she goes out, then the word would undoubtedly go to her brothers, and he would be landed in jail or be dead. If so, he needs to take care of the person at the front first.
Meanwhile, Keerthi was trembling with fear and gulping hard in the dimly lit room. Her eyes scanning for something could be helpful for her rescue.
Abruptly, he was on his feet and took slow steps towards her. “Don't come near,” warned Keerthi.
“Are we not in a relationship? How come you don't want me to come near you? If I should stay away, then why did you follow me?” asked Ranjith in a seductive yet threatening voice.
The thought of taking a step forward in her relationship made her want to kill herself at that moment. She didn't know he was such an asshole.
Keerthi searched for something, and she took the knife from the fruit bowl on the table beside her. “Don't come near, or else I will stab you.” She warned, gripping the knife with both palms and stepping backwards.
Ranjith laughed maniacally at her threat. “You can’t do it, Barbie.”
“I… I can do it.” Her hands were trembling from fear. Her back hit the table, and she fell on the floor.
“Arereee…” He clicked his tongue in mocking. When he bent down, Keerthi flung her hand in an instant and stabbed him above his heart.
